Stuck with a white background and not a Photoshop guru?
Here's a solution.
Keep in mind this will only work with .PNG format images for the meantime - but there is an easy way to search for images like this. In your Google Image searches, for example if your searching for a puppy; try adding "filetype:png" to your search. So it should look like this "puppy filetype:png" this will force google to search only for png images.
Remember to use high quality images as most images need to be enlarged substantially to the actual product size. Squickle will notify you if it thinks you should use a larger image, resizing it on your artboard will also have an effect.
You will also notice in the video you will have manual colour select option - use the eyedrop tool to select the colour on your uploaded image then continue.
This is not intented for complex backgrounds, rather single colour. This task is normally done manually as it is difficult for software to determine what sections of a flat image you require, without disfiguring the parts you want. If you do have an image that needs a complex background removed, you will need supporting software to manually "cut" around and remove it. We recommend tools like Photoshop.
